The Tashkent State Institute of Culture named after Abdulla Qadiri is the State higher educational establishment functioning in the sphere of professional educational. It has passed the State accreditation allowing to give the State certificate of degree of higher education for two levels (baccalaureate and master’s course) to graduating students and carrying out its activities on the basis of the regulations.
The Institute is an unique higher educational establishment carrying out the training of specialists by wide spectrum of professional directions having culture science nature. Science and art, creating activity and applied technologies of mastering of social and cultural space are combined successfully in it. Teaching is conducted in 5 directions of education, more than 10 specializations, it is carried out by 6 faculties and 14 chairs.
1,5 thousands of students are trained at the Institute now. The high standard of educational process is ensured by 170 teachers including 27 professors, 90 senior lecturers and Candidates of sciences, many of teachers have honorary titles in the field of science, education, culture and art.
There are 5 buildings including well-equipped educational buildings, hostels, the information-resource centre, a dining-hall, a gymnasium, a stadium and a dispensary.
The Institute has a strong computer base used in the educational process. The Institute supports a lot of social programs directed to give pecuniary and to students.
