By the regulation (№110 from June, 7th, 2006) of the Cabinet of Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan «About measures on establishing the Center for developing general educational multimedia programs at the Ministry of national education of the Republic of Uzbekistan», the following duties are assigned to the Center: • Developing electronic training multimedia applications (Department of developing educational multimedia applications); • Adapting and localizing previously developed electronic training resources and editions from other languages to training languages in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Department of developing educational multimedia applications); • Researching, analyzing and monitoring the efficiency of using computer equipments, training resources and trainings on information-communication technologies (Department of development and researches - monitoring group); • Developing and carrying out training courses for employees of retraining institutes and improving professional skills of workers of national education and teachers (Department of developing and carrying out training courses); • Organisation, support and administration of a server platform of informational-educational web portal (Department of administration of a server platform); • Organization and support of informational-educational web-portal (Department of administration of a server platform); • Connecting schools to informational-educational web-portal (Department of administration of a server platform).
