Vatandosh is the first American newspaper in Uzbek language. It is a monthly community publication of people of Uzbekistan and Central Asia in the U.S., who speak Uzbek language and number over 300 thousand across the states of America. Established in early 2011 in Brooklyn, New York, Vatandosh aims to help people of Uzbekistan adapt to, and integrate into, new life in America, and preserve their language and culture. It covers issues that are important to our community, including, but not limited to, community news, social life, legal advices, culture and entertainment.
