Founded in October 1961 as a boarding school of a sports structure, in 1989, it became a the Republican School of Olympic reserve, which allowed graduates to receive average special education with highly qualified trainers in various types of sports. In accordance with the National Program of Personnel Training, in 2001, the school became College of Olympic reserve.
